Educate a Woman.
Empower a Generation.
Protect Mama Africa.
We believe every African woman deserves the opportunity to learn, earn, lead, and build a future she is proud of.
Through fashion, business, and community, LBK by Hello Friday is working to support educational opportunities, stronger schools, and economic empowerment for African women and girls.
Shop with purposeDiscover our impactOur commitment is to allocate 5% of every eligible purchase toward initiatives that support education, school improvements, essential resources, and economic opportunities for women and girls in Kenya.
This is a commitment being established, not a completed donation program. The calculation basis (gross sales, net sales, or other), eligible purchases, and timing will be disclosed before publication. See impact reporting
Every eligible purchase on LBK by Hello Friday counts toward our commitment.
A share of each eligible purchase is added to our project kitty.
The kitty is intended to support education and opportunity initiatives, starting with Tomena Primary School and Kambaa Girls High School in April 2027.
We are currently working on initiatives to support Tomena Primary School and Kambaa Girls High School in Kenya.
Our vision is to help strengthen learning environments, improve access to educational resources, and create more opportunities for students, especially girls, to pursue their education and build brighter futures.
Project start: April 2027. The Cherry Girlz Foundation projects for Tomena Primary School and Kambaa Girls High School will commence in April 2027.
Status: proposed initiatives. No school partnership, funding, or completed work is claimed here until confirmed.
Employment. Financial independence. Stronger communities.
We aim to create at least 1,000 employment opportunities for women.
Through fashion, production, logistics, retail, technology, and entrepreneurship, we want to help women develop valuable skills, build sustainable incomes, support their households, and participate more fully in the economy.
Our vision is a future where women have greater access to meaningful work, professional development, and the resources to build businesses of their own.
We believe the opportunity to learn, earn, and live with dignity should not be limited by circumstance. Our long-term mission is to support practical initiatives that help women and communities thrive.
We want every customer to understand how our social-impact commitment works and what progress we are making. Our goal is to build a transparent, measurable initiative that reports contributions, project allocations, and verified results.
The official program to distribute funding is set to commence in July 2027.
Our goal is for the Cherry Girlz Foundation to be fully registered and functional by the end of 2026.
Every eligible purchase adds 5% to our project kitty. Here is how many sales we have made so far and how much of that is being set aside for each project we have started.
Whether you are a customer, educator, mentor, business owner, or potential sponsor, there are many ways to support a future where African women and girls have more opportunities.
Every purchase can be part of a larger movement for education, opportunity, and dignity. Join LBK by Hello Friday as we work toward a future where African women have more opportunities to learn, earn, lead, and thrive.

A Kenyan Atelier.
A Global Vision.
A Future for Every Woman.
Our Founder
“I am a Kenyan woman building from the ground up. I believe creativity, resourcefulness and determination can turn an idea into something powerful.
LBK is my way of celebrating African heritage while creating real opportunities for women through skill building, education, employment and leadership.”
Our CEO is a 23-year-old Kenyan national, born and raised in Kenya, who now lives permanently in the Seattle area, where she runs LBK’s operations.
She built LBK herself, from the ground up, and she takes an active, hands-on part in making the products. She learned these skills as a child growing up in Africa, and that craft is in every piece we make.
She has partnered with more than 25 freelance tailors in Kenya and plans to hire more as sales grow. LBK handles its own sourcing, manufacturing and supplying.
“The corner office goes to the women who ask for it, not the ones who wait to be handed it.”
